Dale Leonard Parks 76, of Lansing, IL passed away Thursday, September 12, 2024.  He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Shayra Parks; Dale is survived by his brother Daniel (Irma) Parks and his sister Luella Tufo. He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel Parks and Alice Parks (nee Nixon) his sisters Alice Sawyer, and Darlene Planer, and brothers, Thomas, George, and Robert Parks, and surviverd by numerous nieces and nephews.

Dale was born and raised in Burnside, Chicago and proudly served in the Army from 1967 to 1968, achieving the rank of Specialist four E-4. He was a long time White Sox, Notre Dame, Bears, and Blackhawks fan. Dale retired from Carpenters Union local One.

Visitation for Dale will be held Tuesday, September 17, 2024 at 4:00pm at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, Indiana 46321. Military honors will be rendered at the Funeral home at 4:30pm followed by a prayer service.
