Mr. Michael Anthony Cox, age 57 of Barnesville, Georgia, passed away Thursday, September 12, 2024.

Michael was born in Atlanta, Georgia on January 1, 1966. His parents, Bobby Cox and Barbara Courder Cox, and wife, Kay Cox, all preceded him in death. Michael was a mechanic and loved being outdoors.

Survivors include his son, Michael Cox, Jr.; grandchildren, Georgia Cox and Luster Cox; brothers, Jerry Cox (Amy), Wesley Harper; nieces and nephews, Jacob Cox, Adrihana Cox, Charlie Harper, Amanda Allen, Shelby Sides, and April Harper.

Visitation will be Saturday, September 14, 2024, from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held in the chapel. Interment will follow in Griffin Memorial Gardens.
