William J. Berry, 75, of Woodstock passed away on Wednesday September 12, 2024 at Northwestern Medicine Kishwaukee Hospital in Dekalb.

He was born in Harvard on November 3, 1948 to Rollin and Ruth (Slavin) Berry. He married Karen Buhrman on May 27, 1972, they were married for 52 wonderful years.

He worked most of his career at Woodstock Die Cast until they closed. He finished his career at JT General Store in Barrington. He enjoyed Hunting and Fishing. He also was dedicated to assisting with the family Farm.

Survivors include his wife, Karen; two sons, Eric Berry, and Kevin (Dawn) Berry; three grandchildren, Anya, Liam and Layna; a brother, Richard (Edie) Berry and a sister, Rosemary (Jerry) Veeck.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Robert Berry.

The visitation will be Wednesday September 18, 2024 from 9:00 am until the Funeral Service at 10:30 am at the Schneider, Leucht, Merwin & Cooney Funeral Home 1211 N. Seminary Ave. Woodstock. Interment will be at Windridge Cemetery in Cary.
