Kathryn Juanette Scoggins Obituary

Kathryn Scoggins, 79, a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully at her home in Tioga, Texas, on September 12, 2024. She will be remembered for her unwavering love for her family, her kindness, and her deep faith that inspired all who knew her.


She is preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Juanita Hart, her sister Linda Newsom, and her beautiful niece, Lori, who are waiting to greet her in heaven.


Kathryn is survived by her devoted husband of 31 years, Ronald Scoggins, and her loving children: Randy Jaresh and wife Jacqueline of Bowie, TX; Bobby Jaresh and wife Stephanie of Bells, TX; Melissa Schares and husband Billy of Whitesboro, TX; Neil Scoggins and wife Shannon of Whitesboro, TX; and Patti Scoggins of Fort Worth, TX. She also leaves behind her sister, Sandy Blakely and husband Brandon and numerous nieces and nephews, 14 cherished grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren, all of whom were the pride and joy of her life.


Funeral services will be held at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Tioga, Texas, on September 16. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM, followed by a Memorial Service at 11:00 AM. Kathryn will be laid to rest at Collinsville Cemetery. The family invites all who knew and loved her to join them in celebrating her remarkable life.
