Canandaigua – Sally L. Woodard, age 73, passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2024. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Glenn Woodard; daughter, Melinda Woodard; two grandchildren, Anjela Woodard and Jackson Furman; and sister, Gail Rogers. She was predeceased by two sons, Christofer Woodard in 2020 and Alexander Woodard in 2021.

Sally was born in Canandaigua and was the daughter of Harold and Elsie Mae (Mason) Rogers. She was a graduate of Canandaigua Academy, class of 1969 and earned her bachelor’s degree from Empire State College. Sally worked as a Lead Infant Teacher at Care-A-Lot in Farmington for many years, where she retired. She enjoyed crafts, music, gardening, bird watching and spending time with family and friends.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, September 24, at 11am, at Pine Bank Cemetery, 5583 Wells Curtice Rd, Canandaigua.  Memorial contributions may be made to Defenders of Wildlife, 1130 17th St., NW, Washington, DC 20036.
