Robert Ernest Loomis was born on June 17th, 1958 in Japan to Hannalore and William Loomis and Robert passed away on September 12th, 2024 in Lacey, Wa. Robert spent most of his life in Signal Mountain, Tennessee where he graduated from Red Bank High School in 1976. Right after high school he joined the army and made it his career for 22 years and after that he worked in aviation from then to his retirement in 2021.

"Bob" was absolutely obsessed with chasing steelhead with his fishing gear that he would design and make himself. He also loved golfing and would stop and golf at every course he came across. Bob loved his miniature schnauzers and included them in all of his various activities.

Robert is proceeded in death by his father William Loomis who passed away in 1991.

Robert Loomis is survived by: his loving wife Lori Sinclair Loomis of Lacey, Wa, His daughter Kelly Loomis of Lauterbach, Germany, step-daughter Kimberly Beranek of Lauterbach, Germany, brother John Loomis of Signal Mountain, TN, sister Dale Loomis of Gulf Hammock, FL, sister Lisa Schneider of Signal Mountain, TN as well as 5 grandchildren and his mother Hannalore Loomis of Signal Mountain, TN
