Martha J. Bradbury, 76, of Sullivan, Indiana passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2024, at Union Hospital in Terre Haute, Indiana.

She was born on August 12, 1948, in Hammond, Indiana the daughter of Gerald Setzer and Kathleen Stadtman Setzer. Martha attended Indiana University and graduated from Indiana State University. She was an RN for 25 years and retired from Sullivan County Community Hospital where she was the head nurse of Infection Control - Employee Health. She was a member of the Sullivan First Christian Church and Sullivan American Legion Auxiliary Post #139. Martha enjoyed playing games, playing cards with friends and most of all spending time with her family.

Martha is preceded in death by her parents, sister, Jane Walls, son-in-law, David Benningfield and father of her children, Bobby Stanifer.

Survivors include her three daughters; Elizabeth Garrett (Tim), Nicole Benningfield, and Amanda Stanifer-Olds all of Sullivan, Indiana, three grandchildren; Bryce Hamburg, Abigail Hamburg and Christopher Garrett, two great-grandchildren; Memphis Hamburg and Isabella Hamburg, her grand pup, Willie and brother, Theodore Setzer of Sullivan, Indiana. 

A visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at Brust Funeral Home in Sullivan, Indiana with a celebration of life at 7:00 PM with Rev. David Cox officiating. Interment will take place at a later date in Center Ridge Cemetery in Sullivan, Indiana.
