Veraniece Diggins Obituary

Veraniece Branham Diggins was lovingly known as "Pee-Wee" or Ms. Vera. She was born in Los Angeles, California on July 10, 1951. Born the 4th child out of 6, she grew up in Los Angeles City as well as Los Angeles County. She was a devoted daughter, sister, mother, aunt, niece, cousin and friend. As a professional student, she pursued her educational life to better herself by reading and attending Compton Community College.

Her other professions were office secretary, administrative clerk and homemaker. Her home in the neighborhood was known as the "Kool-Aid House" because all the children liked to be around, and neighborhood parents knew where to find their children. Many of her pastime were throwing house parties, attending or planning family gatherings, singing, dancing and reading books. Her other favorite pastimes were watching TV shows like Westers, Natural Disasters, Sci-Fi, some Horror and plenty of Cartoons.

Preceding her into Eternal Rest are her parents Florence Davis and Leroy Branham, the fathers of her children, Lawrence Diggins I and Henry McClelland as well as her sisters Lillian Burrell and Dorothea Branham.

Family to cherish her memory are her brothers, Leon Davis and Steven Branham and sister Laura Rader. Her children, Antoinette, Lawrence, Anthony, Keisha and Joseph along with their families. She also leaves behind her status as Mother, Granny, and Great-Grandmother with a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Family/Extended Family and Friends.
