Julie Ann Halbleib was born December 22, 1961, in Canton, SD to Frank and Anna Mae Hamersma. She joined the Army after high school & served as a medical technician for six years. After her time serving in the military she took a chemistry job at Cargill Inc. Julie retired from Cargill as the North American Regional operation manager for Food safety, Quality & Regulatory. Julie departed this life on September 12, 2024, after an eight-month battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her father Frank, mother Anna, brother David, niece Melissa. She is survived by her husband Randy, daughter Stephanie, granddaughter, grandson and her brother Steven.
