Thelma Marie Adams, 82, of Metamora, IL passed away at 1:56 am on Thursday, September 12, 2024, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL.

She was born on January 23, 1942, in Worth Township, IL, to Lawrence and Margaret (Reising) Adams.

Surviving are her caregiver, Geri (Rick) Hammer of Germantown Hills; their children, Robyn (Danny) Reinmann of Normal, IL and Grant Hammer of Boulder, CO; sister-in-law, Helen Adams of Metamora, IL; several nieces and nephews; and multiple cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Joanna Bostic and Cecilia Layten, and brothers, Wendelinus Adams and Norman Adams.

Thelma was a member of St. Mary of Lourdes Catholic Church and the Altar and Rosary Society. She was a housekeeper and also a child care giver to many families and relatives. Thelma volunteered for 35 years at Snyder Village.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 am on Monday, September 16, 2024 at St. Mary of Lourdes Catholic Church with Father Eric Bolek officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:30 am until mass time, also on Monday at the church. Burial will be in St. Mary of Lourdes Catholic Cemetery.
