David John Lindner Jr., passed unexpectedly at his home on September 12, 2024 at the age of 56. David was born at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire on June 8, 1968. He attended Lowes Creek Grade School, Memorial High School and the University of Wisconsin – Stout graduating with a degree in finance.
After graduation he spent some time working in Rochester, MN before returning to Eau Claire to work in the family business, Bark River Culvert and Equipment, with his father, Dave. Sr. He excelled in sales. He later owned Lindner Culvert Company. He also loved investing in the Stock Market.
David was a kind and gentle man and a loving brother to his siblings, Heather and Kevin. He greatly enjoyed spending time at his grandparents, Joe and Jeanne Lindner’s, cottage and fishing with his Grandpa Oscar and Grandma Grace. He also loved driving the Wisconsin countryside in his Mercedes convertible.
While he was a quiet man, he was also very generous and caring. During college, David spent a year studying abroad in Australia and New Zealand. He fell in love with New Zealand and its people and revisited many times including taking his mother and then his sister there.
We are devastated with the loss. David leaves behind his parents, Dave and Carol (Knudtson) Lindner; his sister and husband, Heather and Alan Beyer and their two sons, Luke and Jase; his brother and wife, Kevin and Naweichi and their son, John. He is further survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Joe and Jeanne Lindner and Oscar and Grace Knudtson.
If you wish to send a memorial to honor David, please remember the Chippewa Valley Humane Society, 3900 Old Town Hall Road, Eau Claire, WI 54701.
A luncheon to celebrate memories of David will be held at the home of William and Carol Gabler on Sunday, September 22, from 11:30 AM – 2:30 PM.
David was greatly loved and is missed, especially by his Parents, Dave and Carol and his siblings and their families, Heather, Alan, Luke, Jase, Kevin, Naweichi and John and by all the dogs in his life.
