It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Mary " Belle" Mavin of Fortune, NL announces her passing.

Belle passed away at the Blue Crest Nursing Home in Grand Bank, NL on Thursday, September 12, 2024 at the age of 86.

Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are her husband Harry of 67 years; son, Arthur Mavin (Angela) of Brooks, AB; Sherry Rose (Neil) of Fortune, NL; grandchildren, Christian, Megan, Rebekah; brother, Clyde Murphy of Grand Bank; plus a large circle of extended family and friends.

Belle was predeceased by her parents, Ambrose and Rose Murphy; brothers, John Murphy (Betty), Arthur Murphy (Shirley).

The Mavin Family will be accepting visitors at Wiseman's Funeral Home in Grand Bank, NL on:

Saturday, Sept. 14/24 from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00

Sunday, Sept. 15/24 from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00

A funeral service will take place at Salvation Army Citadel in Grand Bank on:

Monday, September 16, 2024 at 2:00 pm

Interment to follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery in Grand Bank.

In Belle's memory donations may be made to the Salvation Army Cemetery Fund or flowers gratefully accepted.
