Robert “Bob” Renew, 97, of Ridgeway, passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2024. Born in Columbia on October 1, 1926, he was the son of the late William and Alice Reynolds Renew. 

Bob served in the United Stated Navy during WWII and retired after 37 years from Pet Milk.  After retirement, he went on to work for Riverbanks Zoo for another 11 years.

He was a long-time devoted member of Ridgeway First Baptist Church. 

Bob is survived by his wife, Mildred Hollis Renew, as well as, many loving church members, friends, and neighbors.    

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 Am Monday, September 16, 2024, at the Memorial Gardens of Columbia, Wilson Road in Columbia, SC.  The family will receive friends after the service by the graveside. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent in Bob’s memory to Ridgeway First Baptist Church.
