Adolfo “Al” Manuel Tirado, Jr., entered into heavenly rest at the age of 52 on September 9, 2024, at Bridgeport Hospital. Born on December 27, 1971, in Bridgeport, Connecticut, AL was a lifelong resident of the city.
Al was the youngest of four siblings, cherished and admired by his family: his loving sisters Annette Tirado, and Carmen L. Tirado and brother Miguel A. Tirado. He is also survived by his devoted parents, Adolfo L. Tirado from Salinas, Puerto Rico, and Carmen I. Tirado from Coamo, Puerto Rico. He leaves behind a family that includes a nephew, nieces, and great-nieces who will miss him dearly.
As gifted artist, Al’s creativity knew no bounds. His murals and artistic works brought joy and beauty to many. Alongside his artistic talents, AL was a trained Sous Chef who took great pleasure in cooking for others, delighting in their enjoyment of his culinary creations.
Al was known for his generosity, friendliness, and unwavering faith. He was deeply committed to his Christian beliefs, which guided him throughout his life. An avid Dallas Cowboys fan, Al’s passions extended beyond art and cooking to his love for his team and the joy of sharing his interests with others.
Al’s legacy is carried forward through the lives he touched with his kindness and creativity. He was predeceased by his paternal grandmother, maternal grandfather, his aunt, and uncle.
In his final days, Al’s concern for the welfare of others remained steadfast, reflecting the compassionate spirit that defined him. His family and friends will remember him for his warmth, his artistic talents, and his enduring love for his faith and family.
