VIENNA Bonnie C. Dunbar, age 80, entered into eternal rest Saturday, August 24, 2024 at OBrien Nursing Home in Masury. She was born November 2, 1943 in Cortland, the daughter of Gerald and Shirley (Love) Conley.

Bonnie graduated from Cortland High School in 1961 and the Trumbull Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in 1968, before beginning her career as a registered nurse. She was a member of Vienna United Methodist church.

Precious memories of Bonnie live on with her beloved husband of over sixty years, James Dunbar, Sr., whom she married December 27, 1963; two sons, James Dunbar, Jr. (Diana) of Iron Station, N.C. and Kenneth Dunbar (Kim) of Woodbridge, Va.; four grandchildren: Alison, Jared, Zachary, and Nicholas Dunbar; two great-grandchildren, Aryanna and Lilly Dunbar; two sisters, Beverly Helmick and Nancy Newton; and many nieces, nephews, and their families.

Services will be conducted by Pastor Sam Mohn of Vienna United Methodist Church at a later date. To celebrate Bonnies remarkable life, do a good deed for someone, and remember Bonnie and her loved ones in your thoughts and prayers.
