Phyllis Jean Hewitt, 94, of Moundsville, WV, passed away Monday, September 9, 2024 at Wheeling Hospital - WVU.

She was born in Moundsville on November 10, 1929, a daughter of the late Kenneth "Bud" and Leona (Starcher) Loy. Her entire world evolved around her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Phyllis was a long time member of Corner Stone Church of God. She made an impact on everyone she met and had a heart of gold. She will be truly missed by many.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her first husband, Kenneth Crow; her second husband, Clarence Hewitt; three children, David L. Crow, Robert D. Crow and Danny W. Crow; her brother, Dale Loy and her sister, Patricia Crow.

Phyllis is survived by her daughter, Pamela Doyle Brown; her brother, Ron (Lorna) Loy; her grandchildren, Andrew (Angela) Doyle, Alicia Crow and J. David Crow and many great-grandchildren.

Family and friends will be received for a memorial service on Friday, September 13, 2024 at 2 pm at Cornerstone Church of God, corner of First St. and Poplar, Moundsville, WV.
