Nancy Carol Arnold Moore, age 84, of Cynthiana, passed away on Monday, September 9, 2024, at Cedar Ridge Health Campus. She was born in Paris, KY, on September 6, 1940, to the late James L. Arnold and Ruby Mattox Sellars. Besides her parents, Nancy was also preceded in death by the mother who raised her, Effie and Luther Herrington; her husband, Glen M. Moore; two brothers, Woodford Arnold and Logan Gale Arnold.
Nancy is survived by two sons, James (Belinda) Moore, Terry (Jana) Moore; a daughter, Connie (Michael) Goodwin; two brothers, Robert (Nancy) Arnold, Thomas (Linda) Arnold; two sisters, Joyce Williams, Mary Ethington; nine grandchildren, Erin Goodwin, Rachel Combs, James (Christina) Moore, Stacy (Anthony) Mulvaney, LeAnn Moore, Elyssa Keys, Mikayla Vajdak, Jonathon Vajdak, Amanda Vajdak; ten great-grandchildren; and two great great-grandchildren.
Nancy was first and foremost a Christian, and then her family was everything else to her. She was a member of Indian Creek Christian Church, and was very active within the church. She was a member of the choir, the Indian Creek Homemakers, the Ladies Evening Circle, among other things she helped with. Nancy also loved to cook large meals to share with her family, and also enjoyed shopping. She will be missed dearly.
Funeral services for Nancy will be held on Friday, September 13, 2024, at 12:00 P.M. at Ware Funeral Home. A visitation will be held the evening prior to services, on Thursday, September 12, 2024, from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., and also for an hour on Friday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service at 12:00 P.M. Bro. CJ Epperson will lead the service, and burial will be at Battle Grove Cemetery.
