Carolyn Fay Gieger Mullican, 90, of Petal, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 9, 2024 at her home surrounded by her family. A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at Highland Cemetery. A visitation will be held prior, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Moore Petal Chapel.

Mrs. Carolyn was a faithful and dedicated member of Carterville Baptist Church. She cherished her relationship with God and encouraged her children and grandchildren to follow Christ. She was a wonderful cook and homemaker. Above all, she was a great wife, mother, and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alonzo Winfield Gieger and Hassie Bell Gieger and her brother, Winfred B. Gieger.

She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Benny C. Mullican of Petal; her children, Tony Charles Mullican (Donna) of Petal and Vicki M. Aultman (Richard G. Aultman, Jr.) of Petal; her grandchildren, Kristi M. Cayten (Kerry) and Sarah Analyse Mullican; and her great grandchildren, Morgan L. Fellows and Kaylen J. Cayten.
