Pauline “Granny” Trussell passed away to her heavenly home on September 9, 2024, with her loving family by her side. She was born on June 22,1932, in Rhome, Texas to Charlie Owen and Myrtle Allen Owen.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Mutt Trussell; sons, Shorty Trussell and Bert Trussell; grandson, Wesley Trussell.

Pauline would get up in the mornings, pour her a cup of coffee and go out and sit on her front porch. She loved sitting out and watching the grandkids play and enjoyed the outdoors. She enjoyed her family to the fullest. They were her pride and joy. She was the happiest when she was attending a ball game for one of the grand kids or going on a trip with everyone. Granny will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Jimmy Moseley and Johnnie Durham; grandchildren, Ricky and Christy Trussell, Diana Coats, Dustin Trussell, Wesley Trussell, Lance Moseley, Damon Durham, Denese Durham, Chad Trussell, Billy Trussell, John Brandon Trussell; great grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, Shelby and Cody Mayfield, Toby and Jennifer Smith, Kaylea Moseley, Jaydn Durham and Holli Rhoads; 14 great great grandchildren.

The family would like to thank the loving and caring nurses from Hospice Plus, Russell Caldwell and Ranetta Wilson for their care for Granny in her last days.
