Marlene Hayden, beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness and dedication. Marlene was preceded in death by her loving husband, Larry, and her dear daughter, Renee. Born as one of three siblings, she is survived by her four devoted children: Catherine Herndon, Michele Cavin, Lisa Hoffman and Mark Hayden. Her loving spirit also touched the lives of her cherished grandchildren.
Marlene, affectionately known as “Marty” by close friends, was a passionate lover of dogs and a lifelong fan of football. Her green thumb was well known, as she took great joy in nurturing orchids and violets, bringing beauty and life to those around her.
Active in her community, Marlene was a dedicated member of the church where she contributed her time and talents in service to others. She also volunteered tirelessly in hospitals and senior centers, offering comfort and companionship to those in need.
Marlene will be remembered as a wonderful mother, Gam Gam, friend and aunt. Her strong work ethic, coupled with her compassionate nature, left an indelible mark on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
She will be missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those who loved her.
