Bob Beegle, age 86, of Berryville, AR, formerly of Dumas, AR, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 9, 2024, with his loving family by his side. He was born November 10, 1937, in Harrisburg, AR to George and Bessie Edes Beegle.

61 years ago, on the spur of the moment, he asked Mary Williams to become his wife, and weeks later they were married on January 14, 1963. Together, they raised 3 children in Dumas before relocating in their retirement years to Berryville to be close to their family. Bob was a mechanic in the U.S. Air Force and then spent his career as a mechanic, repairing farm equipment and tinkering with small engines and other things that needed to be repaired. He retired as a mechanic from Scott Tractor.

Bob was a compassionate, yet quite man. He would do anything for anyone that needed help, even if it meant “giving the shirt off his back” to help someone. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, making memories with them playing on the farm and tractor. He enjoyed westerns and country music tv shows.

Bob is survived by his loving wife of the home, Mary Beegle, daughter Marlinda Wyatt and her husband Scott of Berryville, AR, son Bobby Beegle and his wife Dana of El Dorado, AR, and 8 grandchildren, Blair Furneaux of Star City, AR, Larryn Kelly and husband Daniel of Conway, MO, Clay Beegle and Seth Beegle of El Dorado, AR, and Olivia Wyatt, Dane Wyatt, Parker Wyatt, and Jadie Wyatt all of Berryville, AR. Also surviving are 5 great grandchildren and 2 sisters, and many extended children that Bob and Mary would invite into their home, often becoming their mom and dad who would raise them and care for their needs.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents, George and Bessie Beegle, daughter Kiesha Hubbell, grandson John David Wyatt, and many siblings.
