Ivan Gene Dailey, 89, passed away on September 9, 2024, at his home in Greenville, South Carolina.
A native of Logan, West Virginia, Ivan was a son of the late Hershel and Gay Dailey.
In his lifetime, Ivan made an impact as a dedicated Sales Manager in the bearing manufacturing industry. Upon retirement from Consolidated Bearings, he could often be found enjoying a round of golf, hunting, spending time with his family, and sharing stories with his many friends.
His faith was central to his life, and he was an active member of Brushy Creek Baptist Church. Ivan's service in the Army was a testament to his patriotism and commitment to his country.
Ivan will be remembered fondly by his surviving relatives, his loving wife of 64 years, Norma Dailey; his daughter, Alicia Cely and her husband, Brook; his son, Jason Dailey and his wife, Sherry; his five grandchildren, Andrea, Michael, Marah, Andrew, and Simon; as well as his four great-grandchildren. Ivan is also survived by his sister, Joyce Black; and two brothers, Harold Dailey and Glen Dailey. The memories they shared will be cherished, and his presence will be deeply missed.
