Although he was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, and one sister, the values they instilled in him remained a guiding force.
In his youth, Mague moved to Mission, Texas, where he would eventually meet and marry the love of his life, Teresa De Jesus Flores. Together, they built a life filled with joy and laughter, welcoming their children Sofie, Margarito Jr., and Yadira into the world. Mague was a devoted husband and father, always ensuring that his family felt loved and cared for.
Mague's professional life was marked by his dedication to his craft as an electrician. His work was not just a job but a passion, and he was known for his meticulous attention to detail and unwavering commitment to safety and excellence. Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm Thursday, September 12, 2024 with the recital of the Holy Rosary at 6:00 pm at Rivera Funeral Home, 1813 N. Conway Ave., Mission. Celebration of Life Mass will be held at 10:00 am Friday, September 13, 2024 at San Martin de Porres Catholic Church, 621 W. Main Ave., Alton. Interment will follow to Lord and I Cemetery, 1203 E. Goodwin Rd., Palmview. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home of Mission.
