Rocky John Hauri

Age 68 of Owosso passed away Monday, September 9, 2024 at his home.

Rocky was born October 9, 1955 in Owosso, the son of John and Joyce (Darling) Hauri.

He attended Corunna High School and was a longtime Owosso resident and residing in his young childhood & later adult years in Tampa Florida, home of the original Hurricane Hell Drivers where he found his passion of the Auto Thrill Cade shows with his father John Hauri. Rocky and his father created “Old Time Hell Drivers” later in Corunna MI and rekindled the spark for Auto Daredevil shows.

As Rocky Hardcore, he was an avid stunt car driver, performing one of a kind stunts at County Fairgrounds, Speedways, and Racetracks all around the country and will be remembered for his thrill seeker personality. Rocky was extremely talented and loved working with his hands detailing model cars replicating his stunt cars, creating freehand arts and hand embroidered projects.

Rocky is survived by his daughter, Jessica (Clay) Trowbridge; sister, Yvonne (Jack) Brown; brother, Mickey Hauri; nieces and nephews and other loving family and friends.

He was predeceased by his parents John & Joyce Hauri.
