Nancy Jane Moore Trimble

1934-2024

Nancy Jane Moore Trimble, age 89, of Catlettsburg, KY, went on to be with her Heavenly Father, on September 9, 2024, while resting at Boyd Nursing.

Nancy was born on November 24, 1934. She was the blessing of the late Elba and Elizabeth Keesee Moore. Nancy made many friends during her career spanning over two decades at JCPenney and Addington Inc, where she worked in accounting and payroll. She had a unwavering faith and was the last Charter member of the Southside Church of the Nazarene, and later attended the Ashland First Church of the Nazarene. There is no doubt that she was greeted by Angels upon her arrival in her Heavenly Kingdom. Family was the heart of Nancy's world, and she nurtured her relationships with the same care and attention she devoted to her faith. The bonds she formed with her nieces and nephews were profound. Her memory will live on in the stories they share and the memories they hold dear.

Her memory will be forever honored and cherished by her loving nieces, Jane Ann Taylor, Angela Cornwell, Garetta Johnson, and Michelle Gillum, alongside her nephews, Jeffery Jones, Roger Ball, brothers-in-law Gary Fillgrove, and Donald Trimble and his wife Priscilla.

Nancy was preceded in death by her loving husband Clyde Trimble, and her beloved sisters, Geneva Jones, Jeanette Johnson, Jenny Ison, Martha Ball, and Mary Ann Prater, and Linda Fillgrove, brothers-in-law Ruffus Prater, Franklin Ball, Charles Jones, Charlie Ison, and Ernest Johnson.

A funeral service to honor the life of Nancy will be held on Thursday, September 12, 2024, at Kilgore & Collier Funeral Home, located at 2702 Panola Street, Catlettsburg, KY, beginning at 1:00pm. Visitation for friends and family will be held prior to the funeral service from 12pm to 1pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
