JEROME, Andrew “Andy” Born September 25, 1954 – September 9, 2024. Aged 69 years.

It is with a heavy heart and overwhelming sadness that we inform you of the passing of Andrew “Andy” Jerome, 69 years, of Roblin, Manitoba. He passed away on September 9, 2024 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Andy was born on September 25, 1954 in Roblin, Manitoba. Andy married Sherry in 1979, during their 39 years of marriage they had three children: Son Jody, twin daughters Christie and Crystal.  They raised their 3 children in Moose Jaw until 1996. 

They decided to begin a new chapter of their lives in Regina.  Andy had started Prairie Winds Transportation in 1991 with a humble beginning of an F250 and a goose neck trailer. Over the years they built the company by continually adding to their fleet of Semi trucks, later on also introducing a warehousing component to their business.  They owned and operated Prairie Winds Transportation from 1991 - 2013. 

In retirement, Andy and Sherry left Regina, Saskatchewan behind and moved to Roblin, Manitoba. Taking time to renovate a house and enjoying spending time together.  They spent the next chapter of their lives in a much slower pace compared to the busy schedule that owning a transportation company entailed.

In 2002, Andy gained the title of Grandpa and enjoyed his time with his grandson Cole, several years later in 2021, he was blessed again as a grandpa but this time to a granddaughter, Maelyn. 

When Andy broke away from his dozer work reshaping the land, he enjoyed fishing, hunting and family gatherings where he would usually BBQ or make his famous French Toast.  

Andy was predeceased by his parents Gilbert and Elsie Jerome and his wife Sherry. 

He is survived by his children:  Jody (Michelle) Jerome, Christie (Ashley) Jerome and Crystal (Andrew) Nickell. As well as his grandchildren, Cole Nickell and Maelyn Jerome.
