BRENNER, Tillie (Cooperstein)

of Peabody formerly of Medford. Entered Eternal Rest September 9, 2024 at the age of 101 (although she would insist she was 29 years old). Beloved wife and dancing partner of the late Harold Brenner. She was Mom, Grandma, and Great Grandma, but also known to a bevy of nieces and nephews as “Auntie Tillie”. She was the Filene’s Basement shopper extraordinaire, the best strudel and rugelach baker, lean corned beef sandwich maker and competitive Bridge and Mah Jongg player. She is mother of Mark & wife Ellen Wetter Brenner, Ronda Brenner & husband Bob Goldstein and Cynthia Ellsworth & late husband Bob Ellsworth. Grandmother of Jared Brenner Goldstein & wife Maria Goldstein, Justin & wife Rebekah Ellsworth, Eric Ellsworth, Rachel Brenner Goldstein and Anna Brenner. Great grandmother of Addie Ellsworth, Gemma Goldstein and Kate Ellsworth. Services will be held at Bourne National Cemetery Connery Road Bourne on Thursday September 12 at 2:00PM. Condolence calls may be made on Thursday 7-8:30 PM at the home of Ronda Brenner & Bob Goldstein. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society 30 Speen St. Framingham, MA 01701 or Dr. Hochberg Lymphoma Research c/o MGH Development Office 125 Nashua St. Boston, MA 02114.
