Our Mom, Joan Weise-Sanders, 91, is in Heaven today, celebrating eternity with family and friends who’ve gone before her, including her first husband, Chet Perkins.
Having grown-up in Ohio, Joan was an alum of Cleveland Shaw High. After college, she moved to Arizona where she enjoyed the second half of her life, climbing Camelback Mountain, working at Delavan Electronics and retiring from Fender Music Co.
Joan is survived by Kathleen (Mike) Reinert of Munds Park, Arizona, Laura Perkins of Scottsdale, Arizona, and Ron Perkins (Lisa); grandchildren: Colby (Margaret), Dylon, and Kelsey Perkins of Elkton Maryland.
