Jan, passed away on September 9, 2024, at the age of 86 in Oakwood, Illinois. Born on June 26, 1938, in St Charles Virginia. Jan grew into a loving figure, cherished by all who knew her. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother to many. Jan is survived by her son Stacy (Ty) Peace, daughters Karen Peace-Abdullah ( Malik), Kellie Peace McBride. Her legacy continues through generations through her grandchildren: Jimmy Sollars (Jacquelyn), Angel Smith, Landon Peace (Jessica), Remo Peace (Ashley), as well as great grandchildren: Alexandria (Lexi) Hernandez, Isiah Hoepner, Abigail Peace, Sophia Peace, Willow Peace, Kabel Peace, Jaxon Sollars, Jordan Sollars. And honorary great grandchildren Dayton and Wade. Sisters: Lucille Smith, Marquette Miller. She is proceeded in death by her Father Grover C. Partin Mother Sally A. (King) Partin, Son Charles M. Peace, Husband Donald Richardson Sisters: Edna, Viola, Juanita, Elizabeth, Brothers: Jim, Lester, Gene, Philip, Robert. Jan was know as a great mother of 4, grandmother of 4, great grandmother of 10. Her role as a nurturing family matriarch and her warm, welcoming nature made her the best aunt to numerous niece and nephews. Her kindness and dedication to her family will be deeply missed and forever cherished. A graveside funeral will be held at the Oakwood Cemetery at 11:00 AM on September 16, 2024 Watson Cremation & Burial services in Danville, Illinois is assisting with the arrangements. Jan’s life and memory will be honored in a ceremony reflecting her significance to all who loved her.
