Graveside service for Mr. Jimmy Lane Chandler, age 74 of Trenton, will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at the Tennessee State Veteran’s Cemetery at Parker’s Crossroads. Visitation with the family will be held on Tuesday evening, September 10, 2024, from 5 - 8 PM at Bodkin Funeral Home.


Jimmy was born on January 30, 1950, in Lobelville, TN to T. T. and Geneva Curtis Chandler. He was a member of the Whitehall Baptist Church in Trenton, and he answered the call to serve his country during the Vietnam War where he served in the U S Marine Corps.


Jimmy is survived by his wife Joyce Ann Dunavan Chandler, two children Jeff Chandler (Janie) of Trenton and Amy Swanger (James) of Medina, two brothers Cecil Chandler (Kat) of Milan and Paul Chandler (Sue) of Milan, one sister Lula Woodall of Cedar Grove and six grandchildren.


In addition to his parents, Jimmy was preceded in death by three brothers J. C. Chandler, Rudolph Chandler and David Chandler.
