Jeffery Van White, affectionately known as "Jefro," was born on September 11, 1963, and passed away on September 9, 2024, just two days shy of his 61st birthday. He was born to the late Willie Pearl White and Henry White, Sr. He was the 8th of eight children. Jeff was also preceded in death by his brother, Jerry Carl Robinson.

A lifelong resident of Coweta County, Georgia, Jeffery was educated in the Coweta County School System and worked for many years at Southern Mill, where his dedication and strong work ethic were greatly valued.

In his early years, Jeff was a superb baseball player. His talent on the field earned him lasting friendships with some of his teammates, including Ernest Cousin, Benji Allen, and Rod Rutledge, with whom he remained close throughout his life. Jeff also had a hidden gift for art, and though few knew about it, he was an exceptional artist.

Jefro, as he was lovingly called by family and friends, was a man who embraced life’s simple joys. He was passionate about sports, loved spending time with his family, and had an enduring admiration for the music of Prince, whose songs brought him peace and joy. His sense of humor and easygoing nature made him a beloved figure among those who knew him. Jeffery joined Powell Chapel United Methodist Church at an early age.

He is survived by a loving family that will forever cherish his memory: Willie Lanier Robinson Neal, Curtis Leroy Robinson (Myra), Jenny Kathy Robinson Cameron (Johnny), Mary Louise Robinson Allen (Stanley), Addie Melissa White Anderson (Donald), and Henry White Jr. (Christine). He also leaves behind a host of beloved nieces and nephews, who will continue to honor his legacy of kindness, strength, and devotion to family.

Jeffery’s presence in the lives of his family and friends will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in their hearts forever.
