Mary Ann Prince Obituary

Mary Ann Prince, 90, of Freeport, passed away, Monday September 9, 2024, in her home surrounded by her loving family. Mary was born June 26, 1934 in Tyndall, South Dakota, the daughter of William and Anna (Bame) Kreeger. Mary graduated from Tyndall High School in 1952. She worked at Honeywell and Empire Cleaners for many years. Birthdays were really important to Mary, she always called and sang to her loved ones on their birthdays. She also enjoyed sewing, Mary made handmade gifts for family members for specials occasions and holidays.


Surviving is her children, Sandy (Dee) Roser of Freeport, Kathy (Jeff) Lamm of Freeport, Mike (Barb) O’Grady of Ridott, TS (Joyce Miller) O’Grady of New Orleans, LA., and Leslie (Mark) Mantua of Freeport; grandchildren, Amanda (Huzeyfe Yilmaz) White, Kristen (Sean) Woitynek, Megan (Mike) Reading, Nichole (Chris) Bauscher, Riley (Brandy) O'Grady, Vincent (Ashley) Lamm, Melissa O' Grady and Tony (Kelsey) Mantua; great-grandchildren: Charles Yilmaz, Elizabeth Woitynek, Kyleigh Woitynek, Charles Lamm, Bennett Lamm, Jayln Carr, MiYanni Smith, Noah Hodge, Monroe Williams, Cannon O'Grady, Kiddo Boykins, Hudson Bauscher, Harper Bauscher, Devin O'Grady, Charlie O'Grady and Carter Reading; also surviving are several nieces & nephews and many, many dear friends.


Mary was preceded in death by her mother and father, brothers, Roy & Willie Kreeger; sisters, Shirley Selburg & Joyce Kreeger; and great grandson Henry Lamm.



Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday September 13, 2024 at Burke-Tubbs Funeral Home with Chaplain Jeremy Heller officiating. A visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service. Burial will at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
