Richard W. Wallace Obituary

Richard W. Wallace, 73, of Aberdeen, Ohio and more recently of Bellevue passed away Monday, September 9, 2024 at The Bellevue Care Center.  He was born February 12, 1951 in Toledo, Ohio the son of Jackson and Blanche (Henry) Wallace.

Richard served in the United States Army from 1969-1971 stationed in Germany and in the Army Reserves from 1971-1974.  He enjoyed attending Flea Markets, meeting new people and listening to their stories.  He was always willing to help someone in need.

He is survived by his three sons: Rick (Tina) Wallace of Aberdeen, Joe Wallace of Sandusky, and Thomas Wallace of Utah; two daughters: Angela (Ryan) Lewis of Bellevue and Summer Wallace of Aberdeen; Grandchildren: Logan, Eric, Rianna, Bryce, Hunter, River, Joey, Kimberly, Caitlyn, Gabby and Marley; great grandchildren: Easton, Landyn, Kian, Layne; numerous brothers and sisters; and his beloved dog, “Diesel”.

In addition to his parents, Richard is preceded in death by his daughter, Diamond Wallace; son, William Wallace; numerous brothers and sisters; former wife, Kimberly (Rose) Wallace; and companion, Donna Hamm.

A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.  Foos & Foos Funeral Service, Bellevue is assisting with arrangements.

Memorials may be made to the veterans’ service organization of the donor’s choice.
