Martha L. “Marti” Wilmoth Halik, age 73, of Grayslake, passed away on Monday morning, September 9, 2024, at Northwestern Medicine/ Lake Forest Hospital. Marti was born on August 10, 1951, in Chicago and was the daughter of the late Wayne C. “Slim” and Lillian T. “ Red”(nee’ Brice ) Wilmoth.

Marti was raised in the Carpentersville area and a 1969 graduate of Dundee Community High School.

Marti is survived by her daughter Dayna (Robert) Mounce, her brother-in-law, and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Dolly Halik. Other survivors include many good and faithful friends, especially Jerri Harrison, Donna Kuba, and Donna Kaminski.

In addition to her parents and her husbands Frank L. Pintello and Charles Halik, Marti was preceded in death by her brother Michael W. “ Mike” Wilmoth.

A Memorial Visitation will be held at Miller Funeral Home in West Dundee on Wednesday, September 18,2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 P.M. with a Service of Remembrance and Sharing held at 7:00 P.M. officiated by Pastor John Pennell. Private family will be held at River Valley Memorial Gardens in West Dundee on Wednesday afternoon prior to the start of the visitation.
