Daniel P Zink, 90 years old, passed away peacefully in the care of his favorite nurse Gail by his side on September 9, 2024, in Boonton, NJ.

He was born in Allentown, PA. on January 3rd. He moved to NJ when he was young to Fair Lawn NJ. He attended Paterson Vocational school where he learned to do machine work. He got an apprentice job for 4 years and started his career in working as a machinist in Curtiss- Wright Corporation & Werner Enterprises before retiring in 1996. Was a past member of the Midland Park and Prospect Park fire department. He had a great love for music & his hobbies. He moved back to NJ in 2014 and became a resident at the NJFH in Boonton. He loved to go to activities and do puzzles. He had a garden at the NJFH where he grew vegetables. Which he got to eat and share with the other residence. He was a past member of the NJFH choir. He loved music and singing. He attended Cornerstone church in Wyckoff. 

He married the love of his life Anna in 1954, and they had 5 children. He lived in Midland Park till he retired in 1996 and moved to Phoenix, AZ. 

He is survived by his children Patricia, Peggy, and David. He has 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren.

He is pre-deceased by wife Anna, his sons Glen, Daniel W., his grandson Michael. His sisters Brenda, Kathryn & his parents.
