Marcus Ruel Caswell Jr., age 67, of Carleton, passed away on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at his home.
Born on March 11, 1957 in Richmondale, Ohio, he was the son of Marcus and Anna (Moore) Caswell. On April 2, 1986 he married Vicky Cox in Cypress, Texas.
He was employed as a front load driver until his retirement in 2006.
Marcus loved his family and would do anything for anyone, including traveling to Ohio to help care for his sister during her illness, even shaving his head in support of her. He could build anything and enjoyed going up north with his best buddy, his grandson Noah. He was Vicky's knight in shining armor.
Marcus was preceded in death by his parents, birth parents, Marcus Ruel Caswell and Esther Salyer, and sister, Melinda Seal.
He is survived by his wife, children, Pamela McCullar, Mark Anthony Caswell, Marcus Ruel (Misty) Caswell, III, Jessica Ann (John) Clagg, Alice Jasso and siblings, Debra (Mike) Teater and Keith Caswell.
