Harvey Wolff, 82, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away peacefully on September 9th, 2024, after a four-year battle with cancer.

Born and raised in Connecticut, Harvey's love for teaching and his dedication to education left a lasting impact on many. After receiving his PhD from the University of Illinois, Harvey had a distinguished career as a math professor at the University of Toledo, earning the respect and admiration of colleagues and students alike. He was the Chairman of the Math Department as well as President of the University of Toledo Faculty Senate and Faculty Union. Known for his even-keeled nature and calm demeanor, he approached every situation with patience and wisdom.

Harvey was a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather. He was married to Diane Wolff for 60 years and is survived by Diane; daughter, Jill Wolff; son, Scott Wolff; and daughter-in-law, Darrell Wolff; and his three beloved grandchildren, Riley, Chloe and Dylan. His legacy of knowledge, kindness, and unwavering composure will continue to inspire those who knew him.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on September 12th at Temple Shomer Emunim. In lieu of flowers, the family requests any donations be made to Temple Shomer Emunim or the American Cancer Society.
