Marshall Lewis Painter Obituary

Marshall Lewis Painter, 70, of 123 Glennie Irvin Rd., Semora, died Monday, September 9, 2024. Born in Person County, Mr. Painter was the son of the late Edward and Dorothy Clayton Painter. Mr. Painter retired from Jimmy Lewis & Sons and he enjoyed spending time at DaMudhole.


Mr. Painter is survived by his wife, Vivian Scott Painter; two bonus children, Stephen Slade (Traci) and Stephanie Slade (Scott); one sister, Mary Ann Long; five bonus grandchildren, Trey, Bailey, Ryan, Taylor and Slade; several nieces and nephews and two beloved dogs, Mr. Cooper and Skeeta Bug.


Honoring Mr. Painter's wishes, no services will be held, however a private gathering will be held at a later date. The family will receive friends 4-7PM Thursday at the home of his sister Mary Long, 7133 Oxford Rd., Timberlake.


Memorials may be made to the Person County Animal Shelter, 2103 Chub Lake Rd., Roxboro, NC, 27574.
