Harriett Brininger Abraham Obituary

Harriett Brininger (Ramey) Abraham, a cherished mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and beloved free spirit, passed away peacefully on September 9, 2024, at the age of 89. Born on June 15, 1935, in Mouthcard, Kentucky, Harriett’s life was a testament to her boundless energy, warm humor, and deep love for her family.

Harriett was the devoted wife of the late Major Dale Brininger and the daughter of the late Ersel Ramey and Mary (Cavins) Ramey. She was predeceased by her beloved daughter, Kristi B. Ezell, whose memory remained a treasured part of her life.

A talented interior decorator, Harriett worked for Rich’s retail store, where her creative flair and keen eye for design made a lasting impression. Her passion for English history fueled a lifelong love of reading and learning, and she embraced every opportunity to travel and experience new cultures. Known for her humor and zest for life, Harriett’s witty nature and free-spirited personality made her a joy to be around, a true Gemini whose personality shone brightly in every interaction.

Harriett’s greatest joy came from her family. She is survived by her loving daughter, Tina B. Pickard and Husband Lee; her adoring grandchildren, Jessica Ezell, Mary Pickard, and Sarah Ezell; and her treasured great-grandchildren, Clayton, Adalline, and Cruz.
