It is with an abundance of sorrow that the Majestic Funeral Home Family announces the sudden departure of Mr. James D. Hines. Mr. Hines transitioned from this life to life eternal, on Thursday, September 5, 2024 at UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton, NC.

Time has been set aside by the family for those who wish to come and express their condolences, while paying homage to James, beginning on Thursday, September 12, 2024 from 5pm to 7pm in the main chapel of Majestic Funeral Homes’ Elizabethtown location. Services to remember Mr. James will be held on Friday, September 13, 2024 at 2pm also at Majestic Funeral Home in Elizabethtown, NC. Following the service, Mr. Hines along with his devoted family, will be escorted to the Brooklyn Memorial Cemetery in Bladenboro, NC for Committal Rites. During these “so-long” events, those in attendance will be able to bring some sense of closure during this moment of sadness, while relying on their faith in the Master to see them through the difficult days that lie ahead. 

The Hines and connected families are receiving services of compassion and distinguished class from E.M. Matthews and The Majestic Servants of Service.
