Betty Jean McCormick, 93, of Proctorville, Ohio passed away on Monday, September 9, 2024, at the Heritage Center Nursing Home, Huntington, WV. She was married to the late Rance Edward McCormick. In addition to her husband. she was preceded in death by her grandson, Nicholas McCormick, and great-grandson, Branson McCormick. She is survived by one sister, Roberta Ratliff of Wilmington, SC and one brother, Bud Minner of Parkersburg, WV; her children, Wayne of Bolivia, NC, Joanne Heck of Proctorville, Ohio, Roger McCormick of Barboursville, WV and Kim McCormick of Milton, WV. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Denise and Michael McCormick, Ramona McMillian, Aaron Heck, Tucker McCormick, and Tynere and Wayne Wray; great grandchildren, Jacob McMillian, Talon and Keeley Heck, and Waylon McCormick. She graduated from Clendenin High School and lived in Clendenin many years then moved to Milton, WV then to Proctorville, Ohio. She loved to sew, quilt, and do ceramics. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, September 13, 2024, at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory in Proctorville, OH. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at 10:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Clendenin Memorial Park, 236 North Point Drive, Clendenin, WV.
