Elmer Reed Jr. 75, of Van Buren passed away on Thursday September 6, 2024 in his home. He was a US Army Veteran before a career with Tankersley Foodservice in Van Buren. He was preceded in death by his parents Elmer Sr. and Ruby Reed (Allen), three brothers Danny, Tony, and William Reed.
He is survived by his wife Brenda of the home, two sons Elmer Brian Reed, Aaron Keith Reed both of Ft. Smith, two sisters Pat Christian of Booneville, Joyce Reed of Oklahoma City, a brother James Reed of Ft. Smith, two grandchildren Madysen and Parker Reed.
Memorial service will be at 9:00 A.M. Friday, September 13, 2024 at U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith with military honors under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.
