Marc David Kaczor passed away peacefully on September 5, 2024 at the age of 37 after a long and courageous battle with depression.

Marc was born on June 25, 1987, to Michael Kaczor and Desiree Brooker (Derosier) in Putnam, Connecticut. Marc attended Killingly High School and grew up playing baseball, football and loving wrestling. While Marc held several careers throughout his lifetime, his favorite role was that of father to his sons, Madden and Dren Kaczor.

Marc is survived by his sons Madden and Dren Kaczor, his parents Michael Kaczor and Desiree Brooker, his step-father William Brooker, his sister Jessica van der Swaagh and her husband Adam van der Swaagh, his sister Alexis Kaczor, his grandmothers Joan Derosier and Barbara Grisé, his nieces Amélie van der Swaagh and Harper van der Swaagh, and several aunts, uncles and cousins, as well as numerous friends.

Marc is predeceased by his Grandfather Arthur Derosier and Grandfather Alfred ‘Fran’ Grisé.

Marc will be remembered as a loving, charismatic man whose infectious laugh and beaming smile would light up the room. Marc was never one to miss an opportunity to comment on how beautiful the morning was, and his smile will be thought of when the sun kisses the dawn each day. Though he had to let go of this world to find peace, Marc’s family and friends will hold on to his memory in their hearts forever.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial in remembrance of Marc will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at St. James Church in Killingly. Burial will be private.  The family kindly asks for donations in lieu of flowers to be made to United Services, Inc. at 1007 North Main Street, Dayville, CT 06241 or through their website at www.unitedservicesct.org.
