Mr. Robert Henry Thomas, age 90, passed away on September 5, 2024, at Loris Rehab and Nursing Center. Born on July 16, 1934, in Loris, South Carolina, he was the son of the late Luther Adrian Thomas and the late Rosie Hodge Thomas. Mr. Thomas was a longtime member of Live Oak Baptist Church. He had a great sense of humor, a quick wit, and he never met a stranger.

Survivors include his two stepsons, Thomas Austin Shuler (Susan), and Richard Darrell Shuler (Patty); brother, Reverend Ernest Thomas; and many loving extended family, and close church friends.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Thomas was predeceased by his wife, Helen Frances Holder Shuler Thomas; and three brothers, Douglas Thomas, Jack Thomas, and Fred W. Thomas.

Memorial services will be held at 3:00 PM, on Sunday, September 15, 2024, at Live Oak Baptist Church with Reverend Mark Hughes officiating. Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM prior to services at Live Oak Baptist Church.
