Andrew P. Jefferys

AKRON – It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Andrew Paul Jefferys, also known as Dippy, who left us at the tender age of 23 on August 30, 2024, to spend eternity with the Lord.  Employed by DC Auto Body, Andrew was a current resident of Akron but grew up in Doylestown / Jackson Twp.

He brought immeasurable joy and happiness to everyone with his infectious smile that lit up a room.  Being a cat dad at heart, some of his hobbies were working on cars, motorcycles, going to car meets, Legos, tinkering with everything, and of course his joking around that will live in our memories forever.

He is survived by his loving parents, Paul and Veronica Jefferys, and Mindi and Scott Heinrichs; sister, Emily; brother, Donnie, along with his grandparents, a host of stepbrothers and stepsisters, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral service will be on Monday, September 9, 2024 at 12 p.m. at Zak-Thacker & Monbarren Funeral Home, 132 N. Portage St., Doylestown, OH, 44230 with Pastor Ray Hilton officiating.  Burial will take place at Chestnut Hill Cemetery in Doylestown.  Calling hours will be from 10 a.m. until time of service on Monday.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be in honor of Andrew to a local humane society.  Online obituary and guest registry are available at www.zakmonbarrenfh.com
