David A. Rotches, 86, of Ventnor, New Jersey passed away on September 5th. He was born October 10th, 1937, in Brooklyn, New York to Albert and Matilda Rotches. David served his country as a helicopter pilot in the Vietnam War and was a Green Beret. He was a successful entrepreneur as the owner of Rotches Pork Packers in Brooklyn, New York and Star Pork Packing in New Jersey. His hobbies included being an avid skillful poker player and the stock market, which became like a second profession to him. David was a loyal friend, loved life, and did it his way. David was predeceased by his sister, Linda. He is survived by the love of his life and friend, his wife of 32 years, Deena, children, Meryl Rosenblum, Sharyn Levitt, Albert (Heather) Rotches, grandchildren, Linda, David, Dylan, Maxfield, and Minerva, and nephew and godson, Albert (Marisa) Ovadias , Albert and Marisa’s three sons, Jack (June) Ovadias, and Jack and June’s three sons. Graveside services will be held privately at the request of the family. The family asks that contributions in his memory may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, www.woundedwarriorproject.org.
