Jerry Paul, age 75, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family at Vanderbilt University  Trauma Center in Nashville, TN August 31, 2024. He was born in Brown County December 21, 1948. Jerry was adopted at 9 months by Lester and Myrtle (Hoffmann) Paul of Cambria, WI.

Jerry graduated from Pardeeville High School with the class of 1967. He was married to Diane (Harris) on October 23, 1971. He worked as an auto mechanic at Howard Ford in Beaver Dam and Cambria Canning Company when first married. He then worked for Spartech Plastics in Portage as a mechanic and started his trucking career with them. On January 17, 1980, he was blessed with twin boys. He became an owner operator and over the road truck driver for CJF Randolph. When you asked directions, he always answered in mile markers. He always listened to Willies Road House when cruising down the road. Jerry enjoyed deer hunting in the fall, taking the granddaughters out west on vacation, many years of camping, and old cars and tractors. If he wasn't mowing the lawn, he was on his John Deere tractor, sitting in the garage on a lawn chair watching the cars go by, or sitting in his recliner watching westerns. When he was home he was up early shooting the breeze with new and old friends at On The Way Cafe.

Jerry is survived by his wife Diane of 52 years; twin boys Mario (Stephanie Nolan) and Marcus (Shawna); 3 granddaughters Cheyenne, Grace, and Meah, and any day a great granddaughter OakLynn Mae; sibling Doug (Ruth); niece, nephews, great nephews, and many cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; nephew Ben; father-in-law Donald Harris; and many aunts and uncles.

Memorial Service will be held at Grasse Funeral Home in Pardeeville at 1PM on Saturday, September 14, 2024 with Rev. Joseph Gerkin and Kevin Harris officiating. Visitation will be held from 9 A.M until the time of service. Interment will take place at the Wyocena Cemetery.
