Stephen Eugene Hardaway, age 61 of Cedar Hill, passed from this life on Friday, August 30, 2024, at his home. There will be a time of visitation with the family on Friday, September 6th from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of Robertson County Funeral Home. Honorary pallbearers will be Stephen Hardaway, Wesley Hardaway, Billy Joe Hughes, Jake Driver, Stevie Hardaway, and Austin Beatty.

Mr. Hardaway was born November 21, 1962, in White Settlement, TX to the late Walter Green Hardaway and Kathleen Newberry Hardaway. He worked for the Robertson County Highway Department. He lived life to the fullest, loving his family, especially his grandchildren, and enjoyed cooking chicken, bar hopping, but especially loved hanging out at The Pit, Coon hunting, and riding his Harley motorcycle. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother: Lynn Hardaway and by his sister: Susan Trembley.

Surviving Stephen are his wife, Betty Lorie Hardaway of Cedar Hill; sons and daughters-in-law, J.W. and Bonnie Hardaway of Cedar Hill, Richard and Joyce Hardaway of Springfield, Jake and Kaylia Driver of Murfreesboro, Tracy Hardaway of Owensboro, KY, and Billy Joe and Kristy Hughes of Paducah, KY; daughters and son-in-law, Stacey Hardaway of Springfield and Brandi and Josh Johnson of Cedar Hill; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ken and Vicky Hardaway and Frank and Michelle Hardaway, both of Springfield; 20 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren.
