Lydia Lois Meeks was born on June 8, 1966, in Pawnee, Oklahoma, and peacefully entered into eternal rest on August 30, 2024, in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her loved ones in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Lydia was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who will be remembered for her strong faith, vibrant spirit, and endless love for her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wesley Meeks and Mary Meeks, her brother, George Magpie, and her grandson, Dian Lee.

Left to cherish her memory are her children: Alicia Sun Eagle and TJ Soap, Jamie and Roscoe Lynch, Kyle Sun Eagle.

Lydia also leaves behind her siblings: Larry Magpie, Dorthy Magpie, Colleen Meeks, Janice Meeks, Genevieve Meeks, Willie Meeks.

Her grandchildren, who were her pride and joy, include Kadie, Dashey, Joy, Tubba, Saiah, Bullet, Ina Baby, along with Grandsonny and Ray Ray. She was also especially close to her nephew, Phat Kid, and held a special place in her heart for Gerald (Fvmbe) Wise.

Lydia loved spending time with her grandchildren and was their number one cheerleader in everything they did. Her love of family extended to her church family, where she enjoyed participating in women's activities and attending services. Lydia found joy in singing and dancing to her favorite music, and she was a passionate supporter of her beloved Sooners, Kobe Bryant, and the Lakers.

Her unwavering faith and devotion to her family and community will forever be remembered and missed.
