Maysville-James Robert Maher, 79, passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2024. He was born on June 12, 1945 to the late Bernard Francis and Bonnie (Evans) Maher. He was retired from Dayton Power Light Stuart Station. He is survived by his wife, Mary (Lowe) Maher whom he married May 12, 1974. He is also survived by his sons, David (Jennifer) Maher of Maysville, KY and Rob (Debbie) Maher of Hillsdale, NY; four grandchildren, Hadley Maher, Addison Maher, Amanda (Zach) Sohotra, and Colton (Katie) Maher; and one great grandchild, Noah Sohotra. He is also survived by his twin brother, John (Carolyn) Maher of Louisville, KY; and his sister-in-law, Janice Maher. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Mike Maher. Funeral will be 1 pm on Saturday at May’s Lick Baptist Church. Burial will be at Green Acres Cemetery. Visitation will be 11-1 pm on Saturday at the church.
